THE PURPOSE OF THIS PODCAST
This podcast exists to help young men identify and overcome internal mental barriers.
The aim is clarity, perspective, and usefulness — not performance, debate, or self-promotion.
Conversations are grounded in real experience, honest reflection, and practical insight. The value comes from how someone has lived, thought, struggled, and adjusted — not from having perfect answers.
THE AUDIENCE THIS PODCAST SERVES
The primary listener is:
Young men (approximately 18–24) navigating confidence, relationships, identity, discipline and purpose. Looking for real conversations — not motivational hype.
While the core audience is young men, finance-focused episodes are designed to provide value across all age groups, with practical conversations and insights that can apply at any stage of life.

PRE INTERVIEW.
THE EXPERIENCE WE AIM TO CREATE
This is not an interview where you need to impress, perform, or teach perfectly — and it’s completely normal to feel a little nervous, especially if this is your first time being interviewed.
You are not expected to have all the answers, speak in polished frameworks, or represent a brand or profession perfectly.
This is a conversation, not a performance. Even though we may touch on meaningful or serious topics, the overall experience is intended to feel relaxed, enjoyable and light-hearted. When you feel comfortable and at ease, the discussion naturally becomes more thoughtful, grounded, authentic and valuable for the listener.
WHAT HAPPENS BEFORE EACH EPISODE
The producer will use your completed form and social media profiles to prepare and tailor your episode. Approximately two days before the interview, you will receive an outline of the episode, including the flow of conversation and topics, to help you feel prepared and comfortable ahead of recording.
Tip: We encourage you to bring any items, products, photos, or materials that support storytelling or create engaging “show and tell” moments.
RECORDING.
WHERE WE RECORD
Episodes are typically recorded from our private studio, located near Caroline Springs.
Alternatively, we can come to you. To ensure the best recording quality, we simply require a quiet space with seating for two and approximately 15–20 minutes to set up our equipment before recording begins.
HOW THE CONVERSATION UNFOLDS
Before Recording
Brief warm-up and alignment (5–10 minutes) - No last?minute prep or scripting required.
During Recording
Long-form, relaxed conversation - Space to slow down and go deeper when something matters - You may be asked follow?up questions to explore a point more fully.
Loose Structure
Warm-up and context — a short background on who you are, what you do and the experiences that shaped how you see this topic today.
Duration
The recording session typically lasts between 60 and 90 minutes, allowing plenty of time for a relaxed and meaningful conversation.
Video Component
Please note that each episode is professionally recorded in both audio and video formats for publication across our podcast and digital platforms.
POST PODCAST.
EDITING
Once recording is complete, the episode will undergo editing and production. Please allow approximately 1–2 weeks for this process before the episode is scheduled for release.
PUBLISHING
You will be notified prior to the episode being published. In addition, the episode will be re-purposed into shorter-form content for distribution across social media platforms.
GUEST AMPLIFICATION

The Conversations Young Men Need Most
Addiction
Around 1 in 3 Australians aged 18–24 (35%) reported using an illicit drug in the past 12 months—the highest rate of any age group. Addiction doesn't just affect lives—it steals purpose, discipline, and potential. In Australia, one in three young adults has used an illicit drug in the past year, and young adults aged 18–24 have the highest rates of risky alcohol consumption of any age group. Among Australians aged 20–29 receiving treatment for alcohol or drug use, around 62% are male. That's why honest conversations and practical guidance matter.
Relationship breakdown is actually one of the most under-recognised issues affecting young men in Australia and can be one of the most challenging experiences a young man faces. Australian research shows that men who have recently experienced a breakup are significantly more likely to experience suicidal thoughts and are around seven times more likely to attempt suicide. These conversations matter because healthy relationships, emotional resilience, and practical support can change lives.
Finances
In Australia, 82% of Gen Z report feeling financially stressed, while 9 in 10 want to improve their money skills and financial confidence. Financial pressure doesn't just affect bank accounts—it affects mental health, relationships, confidence and future opportunities. Young Australians experiencing financial stress are more likely to struggle with wellbeing and decision-making, reinforcing the importance of practical financial education early in adulthood.
Identity
Many young men are navigating questions of purpose, belonging, confidence and direction. In Australia, young people experience the highest rates of mental disorders, around 1 in 5 young Australians often feel very lonely and suicide remains the leading cause of health loss for young men aged 15–24. These aren't just statistics—they're a reminder of why honest conversations, strong role models and practical guidance matter.
